You'll play an important part in each client's everyday life: helping with personal care, companionship, household tasks, mobility and daily routines, and building strong relationships with care centred on each person's preferences and needs.

We know flexibility matters, so we offer a range of placements to suit you, with ongoing support from a dedicated care management team. We work with clients across Walton-on-Thames and nearby, matching carers with placements that are rewarding and fulfilling.

What you'll do

• Give person-centred care in the client's home
• Build meaningful relationships through companionship and emotional support
• Help with personal care, including washing, dressing and grooming
• Support mobility, with safe moving and handling
• Prepare meals and encourage good nutrition and hydration
• Give medication in line with the care plan
• Help with light household tasks, including cleaning and laundry
• Run errands such as shopping and collecting prescriptions
• Monitor wellbeing and report any concerns
• Work closely with families and healthcare professionals
• Keep accurate, detailed care records
• Give one-to-one support that promotes independence

What you'll bring

• Previous professional care experience (preferred)
• A caring, patient and compassionate nature
• Confidence working on your own in a client's home
• Good communication and listening skills
• The ability to adapt to different clients and care needs
• Reliability and a professional attitude
• A commitment to person-centred care
• Experience supporting people with daily living
• The right to work in the UK
• Experience giving medication (desirable)
• Live-in experience is welcome but not essential
