About the Live-in Carer (Self Employed) job in Gatwick
We're looking for warm, caring, and professional Live-in Carer (Self Employed) in Gatwick who are passionate about helping others live independently at home. Working in live-in care gives you the opportunity to provide dedicated one-to-one support while building genuine relationships with the people you care for.
In your role as a Live-in Carer (Self Employed) in Gatwick, you'll support clients with everyday activities, personal care, companionship, mobility assistance, and household tasks. Your support will help them remain safe, comfortable, and confident in familiar surroundings.

We are currently recruiting Live-in Carers on a self-employed basis for our introductory care service.

What you'll do
- Support clients to remain independent in their own homes
- Provide person-centred care tailored to individual needs
- Assist with washing, dressing and personal care
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Help with mobility and daily routines
- Prepare meals and encourage hydration
- Administer medication safely and accurately
- Support with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
- Complete shopping and other essential errands
- Monitor wellbeing and report any concerns
- Keep accurate care records
- Work closely with families and healthcare professionals
What you'll bring
- Previous professional care experience is preferred
- A caring, patient and compassionate nature
- Confidence working independently within a client's home
- Strong communication and listening skills
- The ability to adapt to different clients and care needs
- Reliability and a professional attitude
- A commitment to delivering person-centred care
- Experience supporting people with daily living activities
- Right to work in the UK
- Medication administration experience is desirable
- Live-in care experience is welcomed but not essential
