Medicare People is seeking kind and committed Live-in Carer (Self Employed) in Woking to support individuals who need assistance to live safely and independently at home. As a live-in carer, you'll provide personalised one-to-one care that helps clients maintain their dignity, choice, and quality of life.
As a Live-in Carer (Self Employed) in Woking , no two placements are exactly the same. You'll deliver tailored support based on individual needs, helping with daily routines, personal care, companionship, meal preparation, and other practical tasks that make a real difference.
This is a rewarding opportunity to develop meaningful relationships while providing care that is centred around each client's preferences and goals. We offer flexible placements, covered living arrangements while on assignment, and ongoing support from our dedicated team.
We provide live-in care services throughout Woking and the surrounding areas, creating rewarding opportunities for carers who are passionate about delivering exceptional care.
We are currently recruiting Live-in Carers on a self-employed basis for our introductory care service.

What you'll do
- Provide compassionate care in clients' homes
- Support personal hygiene and grooming needs
- Build positive relationships with clients
- Assist with mobility and safe moving and handling
- Prepare meals and support healthy eating
- Encourage independence and confidence
- Administer medication safely
- Help maintain a tidy and safe home environment
- Support with shopping and everyday errands
- Monitor wellbeing and raise concerns when needed
- Keep accurate daily records
- Work closely with the wider care team
What you'll bring
- At least 6 months' experience working in UK care
- A patient and compassionate attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence working on your own and using your initiative
- Experience supporting people to remain independent
- Reliability and a positive work ethic
- The ability to adapt to different clients and care needs
- A passion for providing outstanding care
- Right to work in the UK
- Medication administration experience is welcomed
- Health & Social Care qualifications are beneficial but not required
