Medicare People is looking for compassionate Live-in Carer (Self Employed) in Farnham who want to help people live independently and comfortably within their own homes. Through personalised one-to-one support, you'll play an important role in improving the wellbeing and quality of life of those in your care.

As a Live-in Carer (Self Employed) in Farnham, you'll provide practical and emotional support that is tailored to each individual. This may include assistance with personal care, companionship, mobility, medication reminders, meal preparation, and everyday household tasks.

We understand that flexibility is important, which is why we offer a range of placements to suit different lifestyles and commitments. You'll also receive ongoing support from an experienced and approachable management team.

Our live-in care placements are available across Farnham and surrounding areas, allowing us to match you with clients who benefit from your skills and experience.

We are currently recruiting Live-in Carers on a self-employed basis for our introductory care service.

What you'll do

• Deliver compassionate care in a home-based setting
• Support washing, dressing and personal grooming
• Encourage independence wherever possible
• Provide companionship and help reduce loneliness
• Assist with mobility and safe movement around the home
• Prepare meals and support healthy eating habits
• Administer medication safely
• Keep the home clean, tidy and safe
• Help with shopping and collecting essentials
• Record important information in care notes
• Report changes in wellbeing promptly
• Work as part of a wider care and support network

What you'll bring

• Previous professional care experience in the UK
• A compassionate and patient approach to care
• Good communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence working independently in a home setting
• Experience supporting people with varying care requirements
• A reliable and professional attitude
• The ability to adapt to different placements
• A genuine passion for helping others
• Right to work in the UK
• Medication administration experience is an advantage
• NVQ qualifications are desirable but not essential
