About the Healthcare Assistant (HCA) job in East Guildford

Additional requirements:
- Previous experience of working within community setting
- NVQ Level 2 Care certificate or equivalent
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Full UK driving license and vehicle insured for business uses
Additional notes:
Mileage - Cars (All Fuel Types): 59p per mile (for the first 3,500 miles)
- 36p per mile (over 3,500 miles)
Shift patterns are: Minimum of 22.5 - 37.5 hours per week
Shifts are 7.5 - 8 hours a day unpaid lunch break

- Provide reliable, person-centred care across care settings
- Promote comfort, dignity, and independence
- Assist with personal care routines and mobility support
- Support nutrition, hydration, and everyday need
- Administer medication in line with care plans
- Observe and escalate changes in condition
- Assist with clinical tasks where required and trained
- Offer companionship and emotional reassurance
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment
- Work with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
- Build strong relationships with those in your care
