As a Children's Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in Newark on Trent, you’ll play a vital role in supporting students with additional and complex healthcare needs within a SEND school setting. Collaborating with teachers and healthcare professionals, you’ll ensure every child receives safe, person-centred support.

Your duties will include a mix of one-to-one care and broader classroom support, assisting with conditions such as tracheostomy care and diabetes, guided by individual care plans. Flexibility is key, as support needs can change throughout the day.

You’ll contribute to a nurturing environment that encourages participation and wellbeing, while working closely with a skilled multidisciplinary team.

A full UK driving licence is essential, and you can choose shifts to suit your availability, including structured daytime hours.
