About the Healthcare Assistant (HCA) job in Surrey

Additional requirements:
- Previous experience of working within community setting
- NVQ Level 2 Care certificate or equivalent
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Full UK driving license and vehicle insured for business uses
Additional notes:
Mileage - Cars (All Fuel Types): 59p per mile (for the first 3,500 miles)
- 36p per mile (over 3,500 miles)
Shift patterns are: Minimum of 22.5 - 37.5 hours per week
Shifts are 7.5 - 8 hours a day unpaid lunch break

- Provide person-centred care across a variety of care settings

- Assist with daily personal care and mobility
- Support healthy eating, hydration, and routines
- Administer medication safely and responsibly
- Observe and report changes in health
- Assist with clinical tasks where appropriate and trained
- Offer reassurance, companionship, and support
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable setting

- At least 6 months’ UK experience in a care home or nursing home setting
