Working as a Complex Care Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in London, you’ll support adults with complex care requirements in residential and nursing homes.
You’ll deliver person-centred care aligned with individual care plans, assisting with everything from personal care to more specialised support, ensuring residents feel safe and respected.

Experience with:
- Cerebral palsy
- Dystonia
- Oral suctioning
- PEG feeding
- Oxygen therapy
- Seizure management
- Tracheostomy trained

What you'll do
- Provide complex care in care homes
- Support dignity and comfort
- Assist with washing and dressing
- Help with mobility and transfers
- Support meals and hydration
- Administer and record medication
- Take observations and monitor health
- Conduct ECG checks
- Assist with wound care
- Carry out phlebotomy
- Perform Doppler assessments
- Administer B12 injections (if trained)
- Offer emotional support
- Keep care areas safe and clean
- Escalate clinical concerns
- Work with care and nursing teams
- Maintain clear documentation
What you'll bring
- At least six months of UK facility‑based Complex Care Healthcare Assistant (HCA) experience
- A compassionate and professional manner
- Clear communication and teamwork ability
- Reliable with strong work ethic
- Confidence delivering complex clinical support
- Passion for high standards of care
- Previous exposure to specialist care desirable
- Tracheostomy trained
- Ventilation trained
- PEG feeding experience
