As a self-employed Live-in Carer in Surrey, you'll support clients with daily living activities while respecting their independence, preferences, and routines. Your responsibilities may include personal care, companionship, meal planning, medication assistance, mobility support, and light household duties.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with clients and their families while providing care in a familiar home setting. You'll help individuals maintain their dignity and quality of life while benefiting from flexible placements and accommodation during assignments.

We introduce self-employed live-in carers to families throughout Surrey and surrounding areas, creating meaningful opportunities for passionate care professionals.

We are currently recruiting self-employed Live-in Carers for our introductory care service.

What you'll do

• Deliver personalised care tailored to individual needs
• Provide companionship and build trusted relationships
• Assist with personal care and daily routines
• Support safe mobility and moving and handling
• Prepare meals and drinks throughout the day
• Administer medication according to care plans
• Assist with housekeeping, laundry and household tasks
• Support clients with shopping and prescription collection
• Observe and report any changes in health or wellbeing
• Work alongside families and healthcare professionals
• Keep care documentation accurate and up to date
• Help clients maintain dignity, independence and choice

What you'll bring

• Experience providing care or support to others
• A compassionate and patient nature
• Confidence supporting clients on a one-to-one basis
• Strong communication and people skills
• The ability to adapt to changing needs and situations
• Reliability, professionalism and a positive attitude
• A commitment to delivering outstanding care
• Experience working independently
• Right to work in the UK
• Experience with medication support is desirable
• Previous live-in care experience is welcomed but not essential
