About the Live-in Carer Job in Redhill (Self-Employed)
Medicare People is recruiting dedicated self-employed Live-in Carers in Redhill to provide one-to-one care and companionship to people who wish to continue living in their own homes. Our introductory service connects experienced carers directly with families seeking reliable, long-term support for a loved one.
As a self-employed Live-in Carer in Redhill , you'll work closely with clients and their families to provide tailored care that reflects individual routines, preferences, and outcomes. Duties may include personal care, meal preparation, medication assistance, companionship, mobility support, and helping clients remain active and independent.
This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact while building trusted relationships with those you support. You'll deliver personalised care in a home environment, helping clients maintain comfort, dignity, and control over their daily lives. Accommodation is provided during placements, with guidance available from the Medicare People team.

What you'll do
- Provide compassionate care in clients' homes
- Support personal hygiene and grooming needs
- Build positive relationships with clients
- Assist with mobility and safe moving and handling
- Prepare meals and support healthy eating
- Encourage independence and confidence
- Administer medication safely
- Help maintain a tidy and safe home environment
- Support with shopping and everyday errands
- Monitor wellbeing and raise concerns when needed
- Keep accurate daily records
- Work closely with the wider care team
What you'll bring
- At least 6 months of UK care experience
- A kind, caring and compassionate personality
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence working within clients' homes
- The ability to build positive relationships with clients and families
- Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
- Flexibility to travel and work in different locations
- A commitment to providing safe, high-quality care
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience administering medication is desirable
- Live-in care experience is beneficial but not required
