About the Healthcare Assistant (HCA) job in Aldershot
In this Healthcare Assistant (HCA) role in Aldershot, you’ll support adults with complex health needs across well-managed care homes.
You’ll play a key role in delivering tailored care, assisting with personal needs, mobility, and clinical interventions, while ensuring each resident is treated with dignity and respect.
Your work will contribute to a stable, structured environment where residents receive consistent and attentive care.

Additional Requirements :
-Females only required
-Familiar with peg feed training
-Experience with complex care clients (spinal injury, brain injury etc)

What you'll do
- Provide complex care in care homes
- Support dignity and comfort
- Assist with washing and dressing
- Help with mobility and transfers
- Support meals and hydration
- Administer and record medication
- Take observations and monitor health
- Conduct ECG checks
- Assist with wound care
- Carry out phlebotomy
- Perform Doppler assessments
- Administer B12 injections (if trained)
- Offer emotional support
- Keep care areas safe and clean
- Escalate clinical concerns
- Work with care and nursing teams
- Maintain clear documentation
What you'll bring
- 6 months or more Healthcare Assistant (HCA) experience in a healthcare facility
- A patient, respectful and supportive attitude
- Good communication and observation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confidence delivering complex care support
- Strong commitment to dignity and quality care
- Experience in specialist care settings welcomed
- Tracheostomy care competence
- Ventilator support training
- PEG feeding experience
