Medicare People is seeking kind and committed self-employed Live-in Carers in Kent to support individuals who wish to remain living safely and independently in their own homes. Through our introductory live-in care service, we introduce experienced self-employed carers directly to families who are looking for ongoing one-to-one support for a loved one.
As a self-employed Live-in Carer in Kent , no two placements are exactly the same. You'll work directly with clients and their families, providing personalised support based on individual needs and preferences. This may include personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication support, mobility assistance, and helping with everyday routines that make a real difference to someone's quality of life.

What you'll do
- Deliver personalised care tailored to individual needs
- Provide companionship and build trusted relationships
- Assist with personal care and daily routines
- Support safe mobility and moving and handling
- Prepare meals and drinks throughout the day
- Administer medication according to care plans
- Assist with housekeeping, laundry and household tasks
- Support clients with shopping and prescription collection
- Observe and report any changes in health or wellbeing
- Work alongside families and healthcare professionals
- Keep care documentation accurate and up to date
- Help clients maintain dignity, independence and choice
What you'll bring

- Previous care experience is desirable
