Medicare People is looking for compassionate Live-in Care Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in Maidstone who want to help people live independently and comfortably within their own homes. Through personalised one-to-one support, you'll play an important role in improving the wellbeing and quality of life of those in your care.
As a Live-in Care Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in Maidstone, you'll provide practical and emotional support that is tailored to each individual. This may include assistance with personal care, companionship, mobility, medication reminders, meal preparation, and everyday household tasks.
We understand that flexibility is important, which is why we offer a range of placements to suit different lifestyles and commitments. You'll also receive ongoing support from an experienced and approachable management team.
Our live-in care placements are available across Maidstone and surrounding areas, allowing us to match you with clients who benefit from your skills and experience.

What you'll do
- Deliver personalised care tailored to individual needs
- Provide companionship and build trusted relationships
- Assist with personal care and daily routines
- Support safe mobility and moving and handling
- Prepare meals and drinks throughout the day
- Administer medication according to care plans
- Assist with housekeeping, laundry and household tasks
- Support clients with shopping and prescription collection
- Observe and report any changes in health or wellbeing
- Work alongside families and healthcare professionals
- Keep care documentation accurate and up to date
- Help clients maintain dignity, independence and choice
What you'll bring
- At least 6 months of UK care experience
- A kind, caring and compassionate personality
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence working within clients' homes
- The ability to build positive relationships with clients and families
- Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
- Flexibility to travel and work in different locations
- A commitment to providing safe, high-quality care
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience administering medication is desirable
- Live-in care experience is beneficial but not required
