As a self-employed Live-in Carer in Guildford, you'll provide one-to-one support tailored to each client's circumstances, preferences, and goals. Duties may include personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication support, mobility assistance, and help with maintaining daily routines.

What you'll do

• Provide one-to-one support in a home care setting
• Help clients with day-to-day living activities
• Assist with personal care including washing and dressing
• Encourage independence wherever possible
• Prepare nutritious meals and support hydration
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Administer medication as required
• Assist with household chores and laundry
• Run errands and help with shopping
• Record important information in care notes
• Report changes in wellbeing promptly
• Communicate with families and healthcare professionals

What you'll bring

• Minimum 6 months' professional care experience in the UK
• A caring attitude and genuine desire to help others
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence working independently and managing your time
• Experience supporting clients with daily living activities
• Adaptability and a positive approach to care
• Reliability, professionalism and attention to detai
• A commitment to person-centred support
• Right to work in the UK
• Medication experience is desirable
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is welcomed but not essential
