As a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in Southampton, you’ll work closely with residents requiring complex care in residential and nursing settings.

You’ll follow comprehensive care plans to deliver personalised support, from everyday care needs to more advanced clinical assistance, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.

Additional Requirements :

-Females only required
-Familiar with peg feed training
-Experience with complex care clients (spinal injury, brain injury etc)

What you'll bring

  • 6+ months experience working as an Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in a healthcare facility
  • At least 6 months UK experience as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA)
  • A kind, patient and supportive nature
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Confidence supporting residents with advanced needs
  • Commitment to person-centred care
  • Experience in complex care environments preferred
  • Tracheostomy care experience
  • Ventilator support knowledge
  • PEG feeding trained
