About the Live-in Carer Job in Epsom (Self-Employed)

As a self-employed Live-in Carer in Epsom, you'll provide tailored assistance that enables clients to live safely and independently. This may include personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication support, mobility assistance, and helping with everyday household tasks.

What you'll do
- Support clients to remain independent in their own homes
- Provide person-centred care tailored to individual needs
- Assist with washing, dressing and personal care
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Help with mobility and daily routines
- Prepare meals and encourage hydration
- Administer medication safely and accurately
- Support with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
- Complete shopping and other essential errands
- Monitor wellbeing and report any concerns
- Keep accurate care records
- Work closely with families and healthcare professionals
What you'll bring
- Care experience is preferred
- A kind, patient and compassionate personality
- Confidence working independently
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to adapt to different home care settings
- A professional and reliable approach
- Experience supporting people with a range of care needs
- A commitment to providing safe and person-centred care
- Flexibility to travel for placements if required
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience administering medication is desirable
