About the Live-in Carer Job in Horsham (Self-Employed)
Medicare People is looking for dedicated self-employed Live-in Carers in Horsham to support people who wish to remain in their own homes rather than move into residential care. Through our introductory service, we match experienced carers with families seeking personalised support.
As a self-employed Live-in Carer in Horsham , you'll provide one-to-one assistance tailored to each client's unique circumstances. Duties may include personal care, meal preparation, companionship, medication support, mobility assistance, and helping maintain daily routines.
This role enables you to deliver truly person-centred care while developing meaningful relationships with those you support. You'll play an important role in helping clients maintain their independence, wellbeing, and quality of life at home.
We introduce self-employed carers to families throughout Horsham and the surrounding areas, creating rewarding placement opportunities.

What you'll do
- Deliver high-quality live-in care within clients' homes
- Build trusting relationships with clients
- Support personal care and grooming routines
- Assist with mobility and moving around the home
- Prepare meals and drinks throughout the day
- Provide companionship and reassurance
- Administer medication in line with care plans
- Help keep the home clean, safe and comfortable
- Support with shopping and collecting prescriptions
- Monitor health and wellbeing
- Maintain clear and accurate care notes
- Work as part of a wider care team
