Medicare People is seeking kind and committed Live-in Care Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in East Grinsted to support individuals who need assistance to live safely and independently at home. As a live-in carer, you'll provide personalised one-to-one care that helps clients maintain their dignity, choice, and quality of life.

As a Live-in Care Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in East Grinsted, no two placements are exactly the same. You'll deliver tailored support based on individual needs, helping with daily routines, personal care, companionship, meal preparation, and other practical tasks that make a real difference.

What you'll do

• Provide person-centred support in clients' homes
• Build positive relationships with clients and families
• Assist with personal care and everyday living tasks
• Support mobility and moving and handling requirements
• Prepare meals, snacks and drinks
• Ensure medication is administered correctly
• Help with household chores and laundry
• Support clients with errands and appointments
• Monitor physical and emotional wellbeing
• Work closely with healthcare professionals and the care team
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Help clients remain comfortable, independent and safe at home

What you'll bring

• At least 6 months of UK care experience
• A kind, caring and compassionate personality
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Confidence working within clients' homes
• The ability to build positive relationships with clients and families
• Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
• Flexibility to travel and work in different locations
• A commitment to providing safe, high-quality care
• Right to work in the UK
• Experience administering medication is desirable
• Live-in care experience is beneficial but not required
