About the Live-in Carer Job in Reigate (Self-Employed)
Medicare People is looking for trustworthy self-employed Live-in Carers in Reigate to provide dedicated support to people who wish to continue living at home. Through our introductory service, we connect experienced carers with families seeking personalised live-in care arrangements.
As a self-employed Live-in Carer in Reigate , you'll provide one-to-one support tailored to each client's circumstances, preferences, and goals. Duties may include personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication support, mobility assistance, and help with maintaining daily routines.

What you'll do
- Support clients with everyday living tasks
- Provide person-centred care within their own homes
- Assist with personal care and grooming
- Offer companionship and emotional reassurance
- Help with mobility and daily activities
- Prepare meals and drinks
- Administer medication safely and correctly
- Carry out light housekeeping and laundry duties
- Support with shopping and other essential errands
- Monitor clients' wellbeing and report concerns
- Keep care notes up to date and accurate
- Help clients live comfortably, safely and independently at home
What you'll bring
- At least 6 months of UK care experience
- A kind, caring and compassionate personality
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence working within clients' homes
- The ability to build positive relationships with clients and families
- Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
- Flexibility to travel and work in different locations
- A commitment to providing safe, high-quality care
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience administering medication is desirable
- Live-in care experience is beneficial but not required
