About the Live-in Care Healthcare Assistant (HCA) job in Horsham
Medicare People is looking for compassionate Live-in Care Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in Horsham who want to help people live independently and comfortably within their own homes. Through personalised one-to-one support, you'll play an important role in improving the wellbeing and quality of life of those in your care.
As a Live-in Care Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in Horsham, you'll provide practical and emotional support that is tailored to each individual. This may include assistance with personal care, companionship, mobility, medication reminders, meal preparation, and everyday household tasks.
We understand that flexibility is important, which is why we offer a range of placements to suit different lifestyles and commitments. You'll also receive ongoing support from an experienced and approachable management team.
Our live-in care placements are available across Horsham and surrounding areas, allowing us to match you with clients who benefit from your skills and experience.

What you'll do
- Support clients to remain independent in their own homes
- Provide person-centred care tailored to individual needs
- Assist with washing, dressing and personal care
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Help with mobility and daily routines
- Prepare meals and encourage hydration
- Administer medication safely and accurately
- Support with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
- Complete shopping and other essential errands
- Monitor wellbeing and report any concerns
- Keep accurate care records
- Work closely with families and healthcare professionals
What you'll bring

- Previous care experience is desirable
