As a self-employed Live-in Carer in Gatwick , you'll support clients with daily living activities while respecting their independence, preferences, and routines. Your responsibilities may include personal care, companionship, meal planning, medication assistance, mobility support, and light household duties.

What you'll do

• Provide one-to-one support in a home care setting
• Help clients with day-to-day living activities
• Assist with personal care including washing and dressing
• Encourage independence wherever possible
• Prepare nutritious meals and support hydration
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Administer medication as required
• Assist with household chores and laundry
• Run errands and help with shopping
• Record important information in care notes
• Report changes in wellbeing promptly
• Communicate with families and healthcare professionals

What you'll bring

• At least 6 months' experience working in UK care
• A patient and compassionate attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence working on your own and using your initiative
• Experience supporting people to remain independent
• Reliability and a positive work ethic
• The ability to adapt to different clients and care needs
• A passion for providing outstanding care
• Right to work in the UK
• Medication administration experience is welcomed
• Health & Social Care qualifications are beneficial but not required
