Medicare People is seeking kind and committed self-employed Live-in Carers in Witley to support individuals who wish to remain living safely and independently in their own homes. Through our introductory live-in care service, we introduce experienced self-employed carers directly to families who are looking for ongoing one-to-one support for a loved one.
As a self-employed Live-in Carer in Witley, no two placements are exactly the same. You'll work directly with clients and their families, providing personalised support based on individual needs and preferences. This may include personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication support, mobility assistance, and helping with everyday routines that make a real difference to someone's quality of life.

What you'll do
- Support clients with everyday living tasks
- Provide person-centred care within their own homes
- Assist with personal care and grooming
- Offer companionship and emotional reassurance
- Help with mobility and daily activities
- Prepare meals and drinks
- Administer medication safely and correctly
- Carry out light housekeeping and laundry duties
- Support with shopping and other essential errands
- Monitor clients' wellbeing and report concerns
- Keep care notes up to date and accurate
- Help clients live comfortably, safely and independently at home
What you'll bring
- Care experience is preferred
- A kind, patient and compassionate personality
- Confidence working independently
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to adapt to different home care settings
- A professional and reliable approach
- Experience supporting people with a range of care needs
- A commitment to providing safe and person-centred care
- Flexibility to travel for placements if required
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience administering medication is desirable
