About the Healthcare Assistant (HCA) job in Newark
This flexible Healthcare Assistant (HCA) job covers residential care, nursing homes, and supported living in Newark.
You’ll provide practical assistance with daily living, support mobility with the right equipment, encourage engagement in activities, and uphold dignity at every step, working within clear care plans and supportive, multidisciplinary teams.
Build consistent relationships while tailoring your rota, days, nights, weekends, and block bookings available. Fast‑track onboarding available; potential start within 48 hours (subject to compliance).
Essential requirements:
✅ Full UK driving licence
✅ Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship )
✅ Ideally qualified (Level 3/4 in Residential Childcare or equivalent) or working towards
✅ Experience within children’s residential care
✅ Flexibility to work shifts, including long days and sleep-ins
