Medicare People is seeking kind and committed self-employed Live-in Carers in Surrey to support individuals who wish to remain living safely and independently in their own homes. Through our introductory live-in care service, we introduce experienced self-employed carers directly to families who are looking for ongoing one-to-one support for a loved one.
As a self-employed Live-in Carer in Surrey, no two placements are exactly the same. You'll work directly with clients and their families, providing personalised support based on individual needs and preferences. This may include personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication support, mobility assistance, and helping with everyday routines that make a real difference to someone's quality of life.

What you'll do
- Provide one-to-one support in a home care setting
- Help clients with day-to-day living activities
- Assist with personal care including washing and dressing
- Encourage independence wherever possible
- Prepare nutritious meals and support hydration
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Administer medication as required
- Assist with household chores and laundry
- Run errands and help with shopping
- Record important information in care notes
- Report changes in wellbeing promptly
- Communicate with families and healthcare professionals
