About the Live-in Carer job in Faygate
Medicare People is seeking kind and committed Live-in Carer in Faygate to support individuals who need assistance to live safely and independently at home. As a live-in carer, you'll provide personalised one-to-one care that helps clients maintain their dignity, choice, and quality of life.
As a Live-in Carer in Faygate, no two placements are exactly the same. You'll deliver tailored support based on individual needs, helping with daily routines, personal care, companionship, meal preparation, and other practical tasks that make a real difference.

What you'll do
- Provide compassionate care in clients' homes
- Support personal hygiene and grooming needs
- Build positive relationships with clients
- Assist with mobility and safe moving and handling
- Prepare meals and support healthy eating
- Encourage independence and confidence
- Administer medication safely
- Help maintain a tidy and safe home environment
- Support with shopping and everyday errands
- Monitor wellbeing and raise concerns when needed
- Keep accurate daily records
- Work closely with the wider care team
What you'll bring
- Care experience is preferred
- A kind, patient and compassionate personality
- Confidence working independently
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to adapt to different home care settings
- A professional and reliable approach
- Experience supporting people with a range of care needs
- A commitment to providing safe and person-centred care
- Flexibility to travel for placements if required
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience administering medication is desirable
