About the Live-in Carer job in Esher
At Medicare People, we're seeking dedicated Live-in Carer in Esher to deliver compassionate live-in care and support to individuals in their own homes. This role is ideal for caring professionals who enjoy providing personalised support and helping people maintain their independence.
As a Live-in Carer working in Esher, you'll provide tailored assistance based on each client's unique requirements. Responsibilities may include personal care, preparing meals, offering companionship, supporting social activities, and helping with everyday routines.

What you'll do
- Deliver compassionate care in a home-based setting
- Support washing, dressing and personal grooming
- Encourage independence wherever possible
- Provide companionship and help reduce loneliness
- Assist with mobility and safe movement around the home
- Prepare meals and support healthy eating habits
- Administer medication safely
- Keep the home clean, tidy and safe
- Help with shopping and collecting essentials
- Record important information in care notes
- Report changes in wellbeing promptly
- Work as part of a wider care and support network
What you'll bring
- Previous professional care experience in the UK
- A compassionate and patient approach to care
- Good communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence working independently in a home setting
- Experience supporting people with varying care requirements
- A reliable and professional attitude
- The ability to adapt to different placements
- A genuine passion for helping others
- Right to work in the UK
- Medication administration experience is an advantage
- NVQ qualifications are desirable but not essential
