Medicare People is recruiting caring self-employed Live-in Carers in Maidstone to provide tailored support to individuals who wish to remain at home. Through our introductory service, we help families connect with experienced carers who can provide ongoing one-to-one assistance.

As a self-employed Live-in Carer in Maidstone, you'll support clients with the everyday tasks that enable them to remain comfortable and independent. Responsibilities may include personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication support, mobility assistance, and household duties.

This role offers the opportunity to form strong relationships while providing personalised care that is shaped around each individual's needs. You'll help clients continue living in familiar surroundings while maintaining their dignity, routines, and lifestyle.

We introduce self-employed carers to families across Maidstone and nearby areas, creating fulfilling placement opportunities.

We are currently recruiting self-employed Live-in Carers for our introductory care service.

What you'll do

• Provide one-to-one care within the client's home
• Support clients with personal care and hygiene needs
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Assist with mobility and daily living activities
• Prepare nutritious meals and encourage hydration
• Administer and record medication as required
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry
• Complete important errands when needed
• Monitor wellbeing and escalate concerns appropriately
• Maintain accurate daily care records
• Communicate effectively with families and professionals
• Promote independence and improve quality of life

What you'll bring

• Previous professional care experience is preferred
• A caring, patient and compassionate nature
• Confidence working independently within a client's home
• Strong communication and listening skills
• The ability to adapt to different clients and care needs
• Reliability and a professional attitude
• A commitment to delivering person-centred care
• Experience supporting people with daily living activities
• Right to work in the UK
• Medication administration experience is desirable
• Live-in care experience is welcomed but not essential
