About the Live-in Carer job in Farnham
Medicare People is recruiting compassionate and dependable Live-in Carer in Farnham to provide high-quality live-in care for people who wish to remain in the comfort of their own homes. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to support individuals on a one-to-one basis, helping them enjoy greater independence, confidence, and quality of life.
As a Live-in Carer in Farnham, you'll provide personalised support tailored to each client's needs, including personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication prompts, and assistance with daily routines. Every day brings the chance to make a meaningful and lasting difference.
We offer flexible placements to suit a range of lifestyles and levels of experience, along with ongoing support from our friendly care team.
With placements available across Farnham and surrounding areas, we'll work closely with you to find opportunities that match your skills and preferences.

What you'll do
- Support clients to live independently in their own homes
- Provide high-quality person-centred care
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene
- Offer companionship and emotional reassurance
- Help with mobility and everyday activities
- Prepare meals and support healthy hydration
- Administer medication safely and accurately
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable home environment
- Complete shopping and other essential errands
- Monitor changes in wellbeing and report concerns
- Maintain clear and accurate care notes
- Work collaboratively with families and the wider care team
What you'll bring
- Minimum 6 months of professional UK care experience
- A caring, kind and compassionate nature
- Good communication and people skills
- Confidence working independently within a client's home
- Experience supporting individuals with a range of care needs
- A reliable and professional approach
- Flexibility to travel for placements
- A commitment to delivering high-quality person-centred care
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience administering medication is desirable
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable but not essential
