About the Live-in Carer job in Egham

As a Live-in Carer in Egham, you'll provide personalised assistance tailored to each client's needs, helping with daily activities, personal care, companionship, medication support, and practical tasks around the home.

What you'll do
- Provide one-to-one care within the client's home
- Support clients with personal care and hygiene needs
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Assist with mobility and daily living activities
- Prepare nutritious meals and encourage hydration
- Administer and record medication as required
- Help with light housekeeping and laundry
- Complete important errands when needed
- Monitor wellbeing and escalate concerns appropriately
- Maintain accurate daily care records
- Communicate effectively with families and professionals
- Promote independence and improve quality of life
What you'll bring
- Minimum 6 months of professional UK care experience
- A caring, kind and compassionate nature
- Good communication and people skills
- Confidence working independently within a client's home
- Experience supporting individuals with a range of care needs
- A reliable and professional approach
- Flexibility to travel for placements
- A commitment to delivering high-quality person-centred care
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience administering medication is desirable
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable but not essential
