About the Live-in Carer Job in Kent (Self-Employed)
Medicare People is seeking self-employed Live-in Carers in Kent who are passionate about supporting people in their own homes. Our introductory service introduces carers directly to families looking for dependable one-to-one care and companionship.
As a self-employed Live-in Carer in Kent, you'll provide personalised support designed around each client's lifestyle and care requirements. This may include personal care, meal preparation, companionship, medication support, mobility assistance, and practical help around the home.
This rewarding role allows you to provide continuity and reassurance while building meaningful connections with clients and their loved ones. Your support will help individuals maintain independence, dignity, and choice in familiar surroundings.
We introduce carers to families throughout Kent and the surrounding area, creating rewarding live-in care opportunities.
We are currently recruiting self-employed Live-in Carers for our introductory care service.

What you'll do
- Deliver high-quality live-in care within clients' homes
- Build trusting relationships with clients
- Support personal care and grooming routines
- Assist with mobility and moving around the home
- Prepare meals and drinks throughout the day
- Provide companionship and reassurance
- Administer medication in line with care plans
- Help keep the home clean, safe and comfortable
- Support with shopping and collecting prescriptions
- Monitor health and wellbeing
- Maintain clear and accurate care notes
- Work as part of a wider care team
What you'll bring

- Previous care experience is desirable
