About the Live-in Carer Job in Crowborough (Self-Employed)
Medicare People is looking for dedicated self-employed Live-in Carers in Crowborough to support people who wish to remain in their own homes rather than move into residential care. Through our introductory service, we match experienced carers with families seeking personalised support.
As a self-employed Live-in Carer in Crowborough , you'll provide one-to-one assistance tailored to each client's unique circumstances. Duties may include personal care, meal preparation, companionship, medication support, mobility assistance, and helping maintain daily routines.

What you'll do
- Support clients to live independently in their own homes
- Provide high-quality person-centred care
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene
- Offer companionship and emotional reassurance
- Help with mobility and everyday activities
- Prepare meals and support healthy hydration
- Administer medication safely and accurately
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable home environment
- Complete shopping and other essential errands
- Monitor changes in wellbeing and report concerns
- Maintain clear and accurate care notes
- Work collaboratively with families and the wider care team
What you'll bring
- Previous experience working in a care environment
- A caring and supportive nature
- Confidence supporting clients in their own homes
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to remain calm and professional
- Reliability and a positive attitude
- A flexible approach to different care needs
- A commitment to promoting dignity and independence
- Right to work in the UK
- Medication experience is desirable
- Live-in care experience is beneficial but not required
