What you'll do

  • Provide compassionate care in clients' homes
  • Support personal hygiene and grooming needs
  • Build positive relationships with clients
  • Assist with mobility and safe moving and handling
  • Prepare meals and support healthy eating
  • Encourage independence and confidence
  • Administer medication safely
  • Help maintain a tidy and safe home environment
  • Support with shopping and everyday errands
  • Monitor wellbeing and raise concerns when needed
  • Keep accurate daily records
  • Work closely with the wider care team

What you'll bring

  • Previous professional care experience is preferred
  • A caring, patient and compassionate nature
  • Confidence working independently within a client's home
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • The ability to adapt to different clients and care needs
  • Reliability and a professional attitude
  • A commitment to delivering person-centred care
  • Experience supporting people with daily living activities
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Medication administration experience is desirable
  • Live-in care experience is welcomed but not essential
