About the Live-in Carer job in Horsham
At Medicare People, we're seeking dedicated Live-in Carer in Horsham to deliver compassionate live-in care and support to individuals in their own homes. This role is ideal for caring professionals who enjoy providing personalised support and helping people maintain their independence.
As a Live-in Carer working in Horsham, you'll provide tailored assistance based on each client's unique requirements. Responsibilities may include personal care, preparing meals, offering companionship, supporting social activities, and helping with everyday routines.

What you'll do
- Support clients to remain independent in their own homes
- Provide person-centred care tailored to individual needs
- Assist with washing, dressing and personal care
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Help with mobility and daily routines
- Prepare meals and encourage hydration
- Administer medication safely and accurately
- Support with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
- Complete shopping and other essential errands
- Monitor wellbeing and report any concerns
- Keep accurate care records
- Work closely with families and healthcare professionals
What you'll bring
- Minimum 6 months' professional care experience in the UK
- A caring attitude and genuine desire to help others
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence working independently and managing your time
- Experience supporting clients with daily living activities
- Adaptability and a positive approach to care
- Reliability, professionalism and attention to detai
- A commitment to person-centred support
- Right to work in the UK
- Medication experience is desirable
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is welcomed but not essential
