About the Live-in Carer job in Camberley
Medicare People is looking for compassionate Live-in Carer in Camberley who want to help people live independently and comfortably within their own homes. Through personalised one-to-one support, you'll play an important role in improving the wellbeing and quality of life of those in your care.
As a Live-in Carer in Camberley, you'll provide practical and emotional support that is tailored to each individual. This may include assistance with personal care, companionship, mobility, medication reminders, meal preparation, and everyday household tasks.
We understand that flexibility is important, which is why we offer a range of placements to suit different lifestyles and commitments. You'll also receive ongoing support from an experienced and approachable management team.
Our live-in care placements are available across Camberley and surrounding areas, allowing us to match you with clients who benefit from your skills and experience.

What you'll do
- Provide person-centred care within clients' homes
- Build meaningful relationships through companionship and emotional support
- Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing and grooming
- Support mobility and safe moving and handling
- Prepare meals and encourage nutrition and hydration
- Administer medication in line with care plans
- Support light household duties, including cleaning and laundry
- Run errands such as shopping and collecting prescriptions
- Monitor wellbeing and report concerns appropriately
- Work closely with families and healthcare professionals
- Keep accurate and detailed care records
- Deliver meaningful one-to-one support that promotes independence
What you'll bring
- Experience providing care or support to others
- A compassionate and patient nature
- Confidence supporting clients on a one-to-one basis
- Strong communication and people skills
- The ability to adapt to changing needs and situations
- Reliability, professionalism and a positive attitude
- A commitment to delivering outstanding care
- Experience working independently
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience with medication support is desirable
- Previous live-in care experience is welcomed but not essential
