About the Healthcare Assistant (HCA) job in Tunbridge Wells
As a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in Tunbridge Wells, you’ll support young people with complex medical needs in a SEND-focused school environment. Your role will combine healthcare support with promoting participation in education.
You’ll deliver both one-to-one and classroom-based care, assisting with tracheostomy management, diabetes support, and other needs, following care plans while remaining flexible to changes.
You’ll play an important part in maintaining a safe, engaging, and supportive school setting.
A UK driving licence is required, and you can tailor shifts to your availability, including school-hour roles.

What you'll bring
- Relevant experience as a Children’s Healthcare Assistant or similar
- Understanding of complex medical conditions, including tracheostomy
