Referral Terms & Conditions 2024
Definitions
Referral:
A healthcare facility that has never been contracted with Medicare People, or one that has not used our services within the last 12 months.
Referral Bonus:
A cash payment of £200 for every successful client referral.
Referral Date:
The date Medicare People receives the referral details.
Referrer:
The individual submitting the referral.
Qualifying Criteria:
The requirements that must be met for the referrer to earn the bonus.
Scheme:
The official Medicare People Refer a Client programme.
Temporary Placements:
Short‑term, seasonal, or casual work bookings with Medicare People staff.

Scheme Overview
The Medicare People Refer a Client scheme rewards referrers who introduce new healthcare facilities seeking temporary staffing support. If the referred facility begins using our services and a minimum of 56 hours are completed by you or any member of our team, you will qualify for the £200 bonus.
This scheme applies to referrals made between 19 November 2024 and 31 December 2025.

Qualifying Criteria
1. How to Refer a Client
Referrals can be submitted via:

The online referral form on the Medicare People website

Once submitted, a consultant will contact the facility to discuss their staffing needs and begin the onboarding process.
2. Eligible Referral Type
The referral must be a healthcare facility located in the UK and suitable for temporary staffing engagements.
3. Hours Requirement
Your referral qualifies once:

You or any Medicare People worker complete 56 hours with the referred facility
These hours must be authorised and verified by the client

Referral Bonus Payment
Bonus Amount

£200 for each healthcare facility referred

How to Claim Your Bonus
Referrers must request payment within three months of the qualifying hours being completed by contacting their consultant.
Payment Release
The bonus is issued once:

All criteria are met
The referrer submits a claim

General Terms
Medicare People reserves the right to reject a referral bonus request if:

The facility has used Medicare People within the last 12 months
The facility or referrer fails to meet any qualifying criteria
The referrer is found to be ineligible
Any other reasonable grounds arise

Medicare People may also:

Amend the scheme at any time
Suspend or cancel the scheme without compensation
Replace the scheme with a new version
